He put together an awesome package, of interest to me (into geology), our teenage son and a friend of his (into science and history), and my wife (into nature). He was very knowledgeable and left us with more things to do on our own.
John took us on a customized tour of the Black Hills in June 2014. The price was very reasonable and we saw more in one day that I think we could have seen by ourselves. We had toured Mt Rushmore on our own the day before, so John replaced this stop with some extras. During planning, John was very prompt in responding, answering questions and meeting our needs. We had to switch viewing Crazy Horse from first thing to last thing to wait for the fog to disappear. Despite the weather, we did not miss a thing on our itinerary. John was extremely knowledgeable about the area, and kept us entertained with stories and poems throughout the day.
